Levy #
You will be required to pay the following levy for your helpers:
First helper ($300/month)
Additional subsequent helpers ($450/month)
The concessionary levy is often approved automatically after the application.
Concessionary Levy #
If you qualify for the concessionary levy, you will only need to pay $60/month.
Concessionary levy refers to a discount given by MOM only to Singaporean employers whose members in the household meet any one of the following criteria:
- A child who is below 16 years old
- An elderly who is at least 67 years old
- Individual who has been medically proven to need help with at least one of the six “Assisted Daily Living (ADL)” activities:
- Washing/Showering
- Dressing/Changing clothes
- Feeding
- Toileting
- Mobility
- Transferring/Carrying
Concessionary Levy Appeal #
In the case that a family member meets any of the above criteria but not given the concessionary levy, you will have to submit an appeal via this link.
